According to the post, Apple will follow a “normal iteration phase,” which is the annual update with the same thin and light design. The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR panel with Face ID, but the rear will feature a notable camera upgrade.

Apple is now expected to bring a 48MP ultrawide lens, which would join the 48MP main shooter. One of the biggest flaws of the current Air model is the single camera on the back, which Apple confidently advertises as “multiple cameras in one.” And while it offers 2x telephoto mode, which crops, there’s no way to simulate an ultrawide lens.
