The vivo X300 and X300 Pro were launched last month in China, the former with a 6,040 mAh battery, the latter with a 6,510 mAh cell. Today there are already rumors of the X500 series scheduled for next year, maybe even October (vivo will probably skip the X400 series due to tetraphobia in some parts of Asia).
The X500 devices will have batteries of over 7,000 mAh, according to Digital Chat Station on Weibo. This would obviously be a pretty significant jump over the X300 and X300 Pro. Speaking of the

vivo is also working on some upcoming mid-range phones that will launch next year with 8,000 mAh and 9,000 mAh batteries, so clearly its goal at the high end isn’t to cram as much battery capacity as possible. We assume that the large cameras in the flagship X line probably take up valuable space that can be allocated to the battery in mid-range cameras.
