Place the cheesecake on a serving plate and decorate with cream and the remaining cooked cherries. In fact, one wonders: is the feminine (cheesecake) to be used, associating the term with \u201ccheese cake\u201d, or is the masculine preferable, referring to the \u201ccheese cake\u201d?  Many opt for the masculine as already being used for <strong>the plum cake, the pancake and the cupcake.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instead of biscuits you can use the pan d<strong>i Spain or shortcrust pastry<\/strong>.  Which cheeses to use for cream cheese?  Usually fresh and soft cheeses are used, spreadable such as mascarpone or also, due to its consistency, <strong>ricotta cheese.<\/strong> The recipe is often enriched with the addition of <strong>fresh fruit, candied fruit, dried fruit, jam or chocolate<\/strong> on top of the cake.
