The opponents you will face after qualifying for the semi-finals, however, are exclusively under the control of the AI.  Also, you are not in control of the number of overs per inning.  There are 3 international tournament modes in the game.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-icc-men-s-cricket-world-cup\">ICC Men&#8217;s Cricket World Cup<\/h3>\n<p>The ICC Men&#8217;s Cricket World Cup tournament replicates the 50-over World Cup tournament that is played every 4 years.  Following the latest ICC rules, there are no groupings in this mode. Unlike the 50 over format, in this mode we have groupings. While you&#8217;re standing guard, be sure to look closely at the pitch marker and line up your hitter accordingly by tapping the left and right arrows.  Make sure you move the batter in line with the ball, following the pitch marker so that you can hit the ball accurately.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-3-look-at-the-field-placement-before-choosing-your-shot-direction\">3. Observe the position of the field before choosing the direction of the shot<\/h3>\n<p>Next, you have to choose the direction of your shot by moving the arrows of the D-Pad on the map of the field. If you direct your lofted shot in a region protected by one or two defenders, a mistake would result in the ball ending up in that defender&#8217;s hand.  You should also follow the court marker before deciding the region of the shot.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-4-timing-is-the-key\">4. Timing is the key<\/h3>\n<p>The key to scoring points in this game is timing.  You have to time your shot \/ loft to perfection.  When the pitcher releases the ball from his bowling arm, the ball will be surrounded by an outer ring that will change color from red-orange-green. <\/p>\n<p>You need to tap the Run or Loft button immediately after the outer ring turns green to ensure proper timing.  You have to be patient and wait until then, otherwise you will miss the ball in the defender&#8217;s hands.  The orange region denotes fairly good timing while the red region denotes poor timing. When you are on a Yorker length, you have to wait until the final moment for the outer circle to turn green.  However, make sure you are proactive and hit the fire buttons immediately after the ring turns green.  If you delay the shot further, you will end up missing the ball.<\/li>\n<li>You can change the batting settings to cycle through the controls if it suits your play style by navigating to the Settings menu.  However, we recommend that you stick to the D-Pad controls as they are more comfortable to use and do not involve additional finger work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"h-5-be-the-bowling-wizard\">5. Become the bowling wizard<\/h3>\n<p>Unlike Batting, Bowling is a bit difficult in ICC Cricket Mobile.  The line of your delivery, the amount of rhythm on it, and the deviation (wobble \/ rotation) would all depend on how you rotate your fingers on the screen.  Here are some quick tips on bowling when defending targets.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-6-refrain-from-bowling-bouncers-and-shorter-lengths\">6. Refrain from bowling bouncers and shorter lengths<\/h3>\n<p>To choose the delivery time, you just have to tap anywhere on the field map as the cursor moves up and down.  The length at which the slider stops is the length of the bowling alley for that particular delivery. Try to hit the Good Length area consistently or go for the Yorker length. Choose the Bowling line based on the configuration of the course<\/h3>\n<p>In ICC Cricket Mobile, you have to choose your line by swiping from the end of the bowler to the end of the batsman.  The delivery line must be chosen according to the field plan.  In powerplay over, you have some restrictions on the pitch, so make sure you let the hitter play in the region where the border was guarded. <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, if a defender is defending the leg-side boundary and the opening boundary line is not protected by the defenders, be sure to throw the ball around the center and leg to have the batter play on the leg side to ensure that some runs are made. saved and also keep the chances of catching up open if the opposing hitter is aiming for a high shot.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-8-vary-the-pace-according-to-the-bowler\">8.
