And because the company is &#8220;Embracing the Connected Future,&#8221; it teased the upcoming MagicOS 7.0, which aims to connect smartphones, PCs and IoT devices together.<\/p>\n<p>Before we dive into the other important new announcements, let&#8217;s review the new launches.  The Honor 70 is available in select European markets from today.  In the UK, an 8\/128 GB drive can be yours for \u00a3 480 (with the option to split it into three installments of \u00a3 160).  In continental Europe, the 8\/128 GB model will sell for \u20ac 550, the 8\/256 GB model for \u20ac 600. Honor laptop to offer OS Turbo, which improves energy efficiency by more than 20%.  This means that the 75 Wh battery is enough for 17 hours of standby time. The basic i5 version costs \u20ac 1,099, while the addition of the discrete RTX2050 GPU raises it to \u20ac 1,299.  Deliveries and open sales begin on September 18th.  Note: Honor also has a new MagicBook 14 with a Ryzen 6000 processor, but that hasn&#8217;t arrived in Europe yet.<\/p>\n<p>Today Honor also introduces Spatial Audio, a next-generation AR and VR experience headset technology that uses accelerometers and gyroscopes to track your head and create an immersive 3D sound stage.  Spatial Audio is capable of placing virtual sound sources at a distance of 15 cm (6 inches) and up to 10 m (33 feet). It will bring &#8220;the next foldable flagship smartphones and all-round flagship smartphones&#8221; to Europe and other regions of the world for a dual approach to the premium market.<\/p>\n<p>Exact details are still unclear: Will the Honor Magic V arrive in Europe or will locals have to wait for Honor&#8217;s next fold?  This will become clear in the near future.  As for the &#8220;all-round flagship,&#8221; that role will continue to be filled by the Magic4 series and its sequels.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/forum.sbenny.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/1662138631_875_Honor-announces-Dual-Flagship-strategy-at-IFA-Honor-70-Pad.jpg\" alt=\"Honor announces the Dual Flagship strategy at the launch of IFA, Honor 70, Pad 8 and MagicBook 14 today\"><\/p>\n<p>Honor 70 and Pad 8 launch with Magic UI 6.1 (based on Android 12).  The next big version of the software will be called MagicOS 7.0 and will cover not only smartphones, but also PCs and IoT.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the details are still hidden, but the company has revealed a feature: the new operating system will allow users to control an Honor laptop, smartphone and tablet with the same keyboard and mouse.  Additionally, there will be seamless file sharing between devices.
