In fact, in the original recipe, the main ingredient was <strong>pig&#8217;s blood<\/strong> and being illegal since 1992, it has been permanently replaced by chocolate.  The new reinterpretation of black pudding is a very sweet one <strong>chocolate cream<\/strong>, true to the original only in dark brown color and density.  Ideal to accompany especially the typical Carnival sweets such as chiacchiere or castagnole.
