According to two separate and reputable whistleblowers, OnePlus plans to eliminate the “Pro” from its next flagship series. This in turn means that the company’s next high-end phone will be called OnePlus 11.<\/p>\n

If the information turns out to be true, it could be assumed that OnePlus is also looking into the option of streamlining its flagship series as a whole. The main flagship series will receive no more than two models in the first half of the year with a potential “T” upgrade in the second half. This has not been the case since 2018 and the OnePlus 6.<\/p>\n

While the trend of the past couple of years requires companies to provide at least a couple of flagship variants to appeal to a larger user base, OnePlus appears to be taking a step back in this regard. Which may not be a bad idea: since the OnePlus 8 series, vanilla options have largely been overlooked and seem to only exist to boost Pro sales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
