The game offers the possibility to select the player character between male or female.  After that, the player has to name their avatar in the game.  The game begins with the story where the FIF fisherman exams begin.  Nautical Life 2 provides players with a bamboo pole to start their fishing adventures. <\/p>\n<p>The story then continues with a tutorial on how to fish.  After throwing the bait into the ocean and luring a fish, the top of the screen will show the stamina of the caught fish.  The power bar is also present to highlight the difference in shot.  The greater the difference, the greater the chance of catching exclusive fish.  The tutorial then goes on to describe how to cook the caught fish. The fish list will show the discovered fish.  After a fish has been discovered, it can also be purchased for money.  The rarity of the fish is also shown here.  The rarity starts with the bronze level which is the least rare fish.
