In a new tweet from the Twitter developer account, the company announced that it will be shutting down its free access to the API starting February 9, one week from today. A new paid base level will be available soon.<\/p>\n

This, in turn, means that some platform features will require a subscription to increase your revenue stream. The latest feature to see success is free API access for developers.<\/p>\n

From February 9 onwards, developers and businesses that rely on Twitter’s API will have to pay a monthly fee to access the data. In one of its tweets, the company says that Twitter holds one of the largest and most powerful datasets, so it is committed to maintaining its relationship with entities using the website’s APIs and also allowing faster and more complete access in future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
