Soft, fluffy, delicate. There cake of the 7 little jars <\/strong>It’s one of the simplest desserts ever to make but, at the same time, delicious to eat! It’s a very special cake, because you don’t need to have a scale to make it: you just need to use it the yogurt pot as a unit of measurement<\/strong> of all other ingredients. Furthermore, the 7 jar cake does not contain butter and you can replace the plain yogurt with a vegetable alternative, such as it soy or oatmeal yogurt<\/strong>: this makes this cake also ideal for those who are lactose intolerant. You can also customize it as you prefer using different flavors of yoghurt: coffee, fruit, pistachio or classic vanilla! And, why not, add some natural flavoring such as lemon or orange zest. The 7 jar cake saw a moment of great celebrity a few years ago, but it still turns out to be one of the simplest and best preparations<\/strong> of home cooking.<\/p>\n

      Preparation<\/h2>\n

      Break the eggs into a bowl and add the sugar. Whip with the electric whisk at maximum speed until the mixture is light and fluffy. <\/p>\n\n

      2<\/span><\/p>\n

      After about 5-6 minutes the mixture should have reached the right consistency. Then add the yogurt pot, seed oil and vanilla extract. <\/p>\n\n

      3<\/span><\/p>\n

      Mix everything with the whisk at low speed. <\/p>\n\n

      4<\/span><\/p>\n

      Add the flours to the liquids: first the jars of 00 flour, then the jar of starch. Mix and add the yeast. <\/p>\n\n

      5<\/span><\/p>\n

      As soon as you have obtained a smooth mixture, proceed to oil and lightly flour a 22 cm mold. <\/p>\n\n

      6<\/span><\/p>\n

      Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in a preheated static oven at 180\u00b0 for 40 minutes. After 38-39 minutes, remember to do the toothpick test by inserting a long toothpick in the center of the cake and checking, with your fingertips, that it is dry. <\/p>\n\n

      7<\/span><\/p>\n

      When the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold and arrange it on a serving plate, dusting the surface with icing sugar. <\/p>\n\n

      8<\/span><\/p>\n

      Serve your 7 jar cake as a snack or for breakfast, with a glass of milk or juice. <\/p>\n\n

      Advice and tips<\/strong><\/p>\n

      You can enrich your cake with 7 jars with 50 g of drops<\/strong> of dark chocolate.<\/p>\n

      You can add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon or \u00bd jar of chocolate powder, replacing it with \u00bd jar of flour.<\/p>\n

      You can replace sunflower oil with the corn oil<\/strong>. However, we do not recommend using olive oil.<\/p>\n

      You can also add pieces of fresh fruit such as apples or peaches to the dough.<\/p>\n

      You can substitute 00 flour<\/strong> with wholemeal or type 1 flour.<\/p>\n

      You can vary the granulated sugar using brown sugar or the variety “mascobado<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

      The 7 jar cake it will keep for about 4-5 days <\/strong>under a pie bell.<\/p>\n

      It can also be frozen: we advise you to divide it into slices and freeze individual portions, to be thawed if necessary. It can stay in the freezer up to 2 months<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
