But the device, which features a high-resolution screen, failed to quite outperform its predecessor, the Galaxy A13 5G.<\/p>\n<p>When used moderately, the Galaxy A14 5G&#8217;s 5000mAh battery lasted 2.5 days, a good result of above-average autonomy, but the device lost about 3% of its power overnight.  The device&#8217;s runtime performance when testing individual use cases was below average when streaming video, gaming, or calling.  But tests on the go showed very good results for autonomy. The weak 15W charger resulted in a very small gain in runtime of 2 hours 21 minutes when you gave the phone a 5 minute charge boost.  Also, the time it took to fully recharge the battery was above average at 2 hours and 34 minutes.  However, the efficiency of the charger was excellent when considering the energy loss during the charging experience: the residual consumption of the charger was very low, with an annual energy consumption that is among the most efficient devices.<\/p>\n<p>Compared to other devices in the Essential price range (<$200), the performance of the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G was above average.  Its range for the segment was also above average, but its charging experience was just below average.
