The Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi unveiled the Helio G85-powered Redmi 12C last December, and the company is expected to introduce the vanilla Redmi 12 soon. The Chinese brand has not yet disclosed the launch date of the Redmi 12, but its Portuguese division has incorrectly listed the smartphone on its official website, revealing its specifications, design and price.<\/p>\n

The list has been removed, but thanks to the Twitter user @kacskrz<\/i> and German blog WinFuture<\/i>we know what the Redmi 12 will offer.<\/p>\n

The Redmi 12 will include a 6.79-inch 90Hz FullHD+ LCD display with a hole punch in the center for the 8MP selfie camera. And on the back, it will sport a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary unit, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro\/depth.<\/p>\n

Powering the Redmi 12 will be a Helio G88 SoC paired with 4GB\/8GB of RAM. Storage will be 128GB\/256GB, with an option to expand it up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone will have a 5,000mAh battery under the hood, charged via a USB-C port at up to 18W (up from 33W).<\/p>\n

The rest of the Redmi 12’s highlights include an IP53 rating, NFC, an IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.3. The 4G smartphone will have a thickness of 8.17 mm and a weight of 198.5 g.<\/p>\n

The Redmi 12 will have at least three color options. And while WinFuture<\/i> claims it will be priced at \u20ac199, Xiaomi Portugal’s website has revealed that it will cost \u20ac209.99. We think \u20ac199 will be the price of the base model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.<\/p>\n
