However, Cupertino does not have such an agreement with Optis Cellular Technology, which is suing Apple over eight patents.  The UK Court of Appeal just upheld a March 2022 decision saying Apple infringed two of them.<\/p>\n<p>The two patents were found to be essential for 4G connectivity and were found to be used by Apple&#8217;s iPhones.
