The feature allows iPhones to act as mobile point-of-sale terminals for merchants and requires only a supporting mobile app to set up.  Merchants will be able to accept digital wallet, credit and debit card payments on their iPhones without additional hardware.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" src=\"https:\/\/forum.sbenny.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Apple-brings-Tap-to-Pay-to-the-UK-now-you.jpg\" alt=\"Apple brings Tap to Pay to iPhone in the UK\"><\/p>\n<p>Merchants need an iPhone XS or newer to use Tap to Pay and will also need to download and set up a supported payment app from the App Store.  The payment platform will initially work with payment platforms Revolut and Tyl by Natwest and will arrive at Apple Store locations across the UK in the coming weeks.
