The smartphone outperformed its predecessor, the Huawei P50 Pro in terms of battery life and charging experience, but achieved a lower efficiency score.<\/p>\n<p>Battery life was average with just over 2.5 days when used moderately.  The autonomy performance for external and internal uses was also overall average. The wired charger took just 47 minutes to recharge the battery, and a 5-minute quick charge provided an excellent runtime of 8 hours and 12 minutes on average.  The 50W wireless charger recharged the battery in just over 1 hour and 15 minutes, one of the best wireless times we&#8217;ve measured.<\/p>\n<p>Wired charging efficiency was below average with high residual charger power when the device was fully charged and still plugged in.  However, wireless charging efficiency was better than average.
