The vivo X80 series unveiled last month in China began its global launch a couple of days ago, starting in Malaysia, and its next stop will be India as vivo’s Indian subsidiary today announced that the X80 series will debut. in India on May 18th at noon. time.<\/p>\n

The vivo X80 series includes three models: X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro +. However, the Pro + version has not yet been unveiled and will only arrive in the third quarter of 2022, so it will not launch in India next Wednesday. Furthermore, vivo India has only explicitly confirmed the X80 Pro, but the use of the word “series” in its promotional campaign basically confirms that the company will also launch the X80 in India on May 18th.<\/p>\n

vivo has not yet revealed the Indian prices of the X80 and X80 Pro, but the company says the smartphones will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. Although you can also expect them to be available for purchase via vivo’s official Indian website and retail stores across the country.<\/p>\n

Another bit confirmed live is the processor of the X80 Pro. The smartphone was announced with two chipsets: Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. And it will be the latter that will power the Indian units, which is not surprising since the model Malaysian also has Qualcomm’s flagship silicon at the helm, while the Dimensity 9000 variant remains exclusive to China for now.<\/p>\n
