A new report from a reliable source on Samsung-related leaks suggests that the company will bring the Galaxy S24, S24+ and 24 Ultra closer together, display-wise. Apparently, the Korean tech giant has decided to incorporate its latest and greatest technology into all three models, not just the Ultra as was the norm in previous years.<\/p>\n

The post on X (formerly known as Twitter) reveals that all three models will feature LTPO M13 displays with 2,500 nits of peak brightness. Until now, only Ultra members had LTPO panels and were capable of achieving higher brightness. <\/p>\n

For the next generation the only difference will be the display resolution of the standard Galaxy S24 and of course the size of the three.<\/p>\n

This means that variable refresh rate will eventually be available on non-Ultra models, but the 2,500 nit peak brightness likely refers to the panels’ ability to increase brightness when playing HDR-compatible content. However, that value is quite impressive.<\/p>\n

This is a welcome change in strategy as the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are still considered flagship phones, therefore offering the best of what Samsung makes all the sense in the world.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
