Although the measured maximum of 1421 nits provided a good user experience in terms of readability of the web page, the weak point of the display was the image rendering in sunlight, where the tones were managed in a way that resulted in a significant loss of detail. Colors are measured using a spectrophotometer in a controlled lighting environment.
