Nokia and Oppo have signed a multi-year patent cross-licensing agreement covering essential patents of the 5G standard. This latest development follows a long-running patent infringement lawsuit between the two companies dating back to 2021. The trial has involved several legal battles in Europe, Asia and Australia and has seen sales of Oppo and OnePlus phones and smartwatches halted in Germany .<\/p>\n
