No North American carriers were on the supported list we saw yesterday when 100 limited edition units went up for auction.  Here&#8217;s what the company said:<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cWhile we would like to bring the telephone (1) to the entire community around the world, we are focusing on domestic markets, including the UK and Europe, where we have strong partnerships with leading local operators. Likewise, AT&#038;T only enables VoLTE for selected phones.  And this is effectively a ban, as without VoLTE your phone will have to switch to 3G to make a call and AT&#038;T will shut down its 3G network in February. Founder Carl Pei has already done so, OnePlus 6 was the first of his former company to sell in the US and Canada with the support of several (but not all) carriers.<\/p>\n<p> PS.
