Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted an update on Apple’s 5G modem situation in the state. In 2019, Apple acquired Intel’s modem business so that Apple could finally begin manufacturing its own 5G chips for the iPhone.<\/p>\n

Reports on Apple’s development of the 5G modem began in late 2020, but Kuo’s latest note reveals that Apple will not be ready to transition to Apple’s 5G modem until 2024.<\/p>\n
