@fennyhenny I've played amnesia! My fav route is toma (yes I'm colorblind) it's actually what made me interested in otomes. Noted the two, will play radiant tale first and thanks for telling me about otomekitten!

What's the best otome you would recommend? I wish to play a new one but I don't know where to start. I like romance and fantasy ones

Cinderella Phenomenon is a free download on Steam so probably would not be here, but the sequel should be since it is 10 or so USD.

Another free one would be Tailor Tales, it has character customization if you like that and each LI has their own story rather than being one story with different LI branches. Some guys are DLC though, so you might be able to find it here even though it's free.

For fantasy I'd say Steam Prison, I know it's on the site here somewhere (as this is where I found it). I also might say 7'scarlet but haven't gotten too far in the story so idk, and the Taisho X Alice series is... Okay? And then Nightshade has some fantastical elements (but it's mostly a historical-ish game). And finally I'd say Royal Alchemist as my favorite, though only bc I was able to play as a guy.

Keep in mind with all of this that I'm a trans guy so it's harder for me to actually enjoy most otomes (especially if the MC doesn't have a face). Even the ones I've listed I can't say they're my favorites, just good options for the genre. Also, the majority of the ones I've listed have incredibly dark themes (another thing that makes it easier for me to play as a female character, since then I can focus on the plot) so if that's not your bag of tea then feel free to disregard them.

@ The one that I've really enjoyed recently is called Blooming Panic! It is a really cool twist on the otome genre where you play as if you're on a discord fan server, and then you have video calls and texts with the love interests. I would really recommend it since the story and the characters are really enjoyable too, especially if you like the idea of connecting with someone online over mutual interests!

So most of the otome games posted has now been inaccesible due to the thread publisher being deleted and its just a real shame that some of it will be permanently deleted cause some of it, you cant find in any other sites. Is anyone aware or knows of what happened?

Hi peeps! I'm looking for any sort of PC VNs that have romance mechanic! I'm okay with playing as a girl but would prefer to play as a guy (I'm trans) or if there is a girl MC just have the MC be shown on the UI/CGs/etc. at any point so my dysphoria doesn't act up. Gender of LIs doesn't matter but queer ones are a plus!!! (Another plus but not a necessity is branching storylines - and I don't necessarily mean like 'they branch off of the LIs you choose', but like an actual branching plot. The story is just as important to me as the romance!!!)

The recommendation of @JohnNull is good (they offer not only focused on action, and sci-fi genres but also fantasy/mystery ones like the shadow society/zombie exodus but yeah, with romance mechanics on the sideline)

Obey Me is one I played, gender neutral MC, mostly male options but very inclusive game~

However, I do use the pirated version of said site, so I need not pay for a subscription, but its services are amazing and worth every penny if I could spare it.
