    There is an anime, also a TV movie. Kristin Kreuk of Smallville fame was in it.
    Western horors could not competr with easter ones. Thai supernatural movies for instance lol
    Even I avoid some of those. Too close to reality, truly.

    I've read some gruesome classics in the horror genre, like Shiki. A real ride of a manga that's horrific in its own way is Alive: The Final Evolution... but that's more intense psychologically with its focus on death, suicide, etc.

    I can't do Western horror, so leave me out of Eastern horror movie night. But wow, is the Thai industry famous for it? I never heard that!

    As for Thai horrors, I dabble in paranormal myself in real-life..so I know whats its all about.
    Yep, Thai horrors with all the revelations on evil-monks hanky-panky is as close to reality as permissible.
    I was born, grew up and still live in the jungles of Asia after all.
