Are you a singer, musician or you play in a band?

I've always wanted to play in a band but I never really felt good enough and I grew up just as the zeitgeist was moving away from rock and towards hip-hop, which sucked. Just as I finally got good enough and versatile enough to play the guitar, piano, keys, bass etc. in a band (at least messing around), I developed a rare autoimmune disorder that left me disabled. Which really f****ng sucked.
Anyway, at that point, I switched to producing various styles of electronic music. I got good enough to get a couple of tracks picked up by a small label. But one thing I've never done and would really like to is collab with a singer on an original song.

Anime intros are often OP happy and euphoric, which suits the kind of vibe I use in my productions. I've tried to remix a few of the really good ones. You ever heard of J-core? It's pretty much happy/UK hardcore (kinda like nightcore to people who don't know better but actually written and produced instead of just sped up) but entirely based on Japanese musical motifs and anime aesthetics. Like 50% of the songs are just very fast, super-powerful versions of anime themes.
Mostly when I'm out at the karaoke, I let myself truly sing, but maybe I should start recording and sharing 
(I've been told I'm pretty good, whatever that means 
). I was part of my HS choir so I guess I've got some professional training and I can read due to classical music knowledge (yep HS once again~ I kept some of my skills but definitely rusty).

That is pure talent, Gabriel! I, too, sing as well. Been doing it since i was about 7 years old. I love, love, love to sing. Music just does something for the soul. What music do you enjoy singing, and have you done something with your talent or is it just something you enjoy doing? Talent like that should never be kept to oneself! It deserves to be shared!
