Honor was undoubtedly the star of MWC 2023 in Barcelona, the company unveiled Magic5 and Magic5 Pro and announced the global launch of Magic Vs. discuss the company’s plan for the future.

While discussing Honor Magic5 Pro and Honor Magic Vs, Zhao confirmed that both will receive 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security patches. More excitingly, he said that Magic Vs will hit global store shelves within the next quarter, finally giving the Galaxy Fold range some competition.
The executive said his team feels Europe is a second home and his company is treating 2023 as its Year 1 here as it has only now managed to garner a strong range of phones to sell in the Old Continent. The company is considering opening physical stores internally, but prefers to stick with carrier and retail partners until it can build an even stronger portfolio.
However, there is now a product and R&D center operating specifically in Europe, which would help the growth of the brand.
However, that’s not great news for the US market. George Zhao confirmed Honor’s phased approach and since the US market is difficult to penetrate, the company will need more time to prepare.
