Samsung is releasing a major update for its Galaxy Watch3 series. Enhance health tracking skills and add some new watch faces.
The watch faces in question are borrowed from the new Galaxy Watch5 line and even though the two series run on different platforms (remember that Watch3 starts the Tizen OS), the watch faces are adapted to Samsung’s discontinued OS.
In addition, the daily activity indicator syncs data with Galaxy smartphones and a new snore detection function has been added. The latter was introduced with the release of the Galaxy Watch4 series. However, the phone must be near you with permission granted to use the phone’s microphone.
The firmware version is R8x0XXU1DVH4 and it should get to you soon enough. Smartwatch updates are usually not delayed by much.
