The game is great. But the mods don't always work causing the finite amount of gems to be spent accidentally. Because you can't buy any and quests don't give very many its easy to spend all of them and then become stuck playing the regular game basically.

It is completely random. I found that most times it fails is on initial start up. So I would have to test the mod by feeding a monster. No big deal there. But other times it would just stop working in the middle of me playing. I hope this helps. Sorry I can't be more specific. But like i said, it's just a random fail.
