Here at Sbenny.com we have so many talented modders and amazing mods to choose from that we've decided to recognize them by creating a "Reviews" contest.
This contest will run from August 5th to Aug 19th. The winner(s) will be chosen Aug. 20th

The contest is simple:
1. Find a mod you've already downloaded or one you've been wanting to try.
2. Write a 450 word review about it and include the following subjects:
Describe the mod/app features, the benefits those features give you while playing the game and what the game is about.
3. Post your review here in the comment section.

Review - Virtual Families 3 - Unlimited Coins and Food Mod by Sbenny

The “Life Simulation” genre of games is pretty small, with very few titles included in that category. The most famous, and pretty much synonymous game with the genre itself would be Electronic Arts’ “The Sims” series, which itself is descended from the original SimCity and its many spinoffs.

Virtual Families 3 is similar in many ways, but by reducing the amount of control you have over the virtual lives of your family members, it straddles the line between “life simulation” and “virtual pet” games.

Virtual Families 3 is the third game of its series, with the first two entries gaining quite positive reviews on Google Play. Some of the new features found in the newest entry are the addition of races and sexualities to the character, new career paths and a plethora of changes to the behind the scene mechanics. Overall, it has not been as highly rated as its predecessors, with a number of reviews griping about the “inflation” of prices for furniture, food, and other in-game items.

Thankfully, we are members of sbenny.com and Sbenny has taken the time to embed a nice little mod in this game. By clicking on the help button in the game menu, instead of looking up a manual or contacting the developer for support, Sbenny’s mod will grant you 100,000 coins. Just the quick pick up you need to finish off a new room addition, or to buy the hottest furniture you can find for your virtual family. Earning the coins to outfit your virtual house with all the virtual toys needed to keep your virtual family happy would take either a pile of real life money or a lot of your real time. Instead, thanks to Sbenny we can skip right on through the early grind of making enough money to afford a decent bed and get right to setting up the place for a large family.

The pacing of the game is MUCH slower than the Sims, and as I mentioned you do not have nearly as much direct control over the virtual family members as you would your Sims in the other game. Instead of telling your family members what to do, you can move them around and encourage them when they do what you think is right, or discourage them from taking actions you’d rather they avoid in the future. This makes things like maid service and food delivery (which would be very expensive, if not for the mod) absolute necessities, lest your virtual family’s house become a total mess.

On the whole, this game wasn’t really my cup of tea, but if you really enjoy this type of game I recommend checking it out!

Can we write a review about a game that already has a review in the forum? And can we just paste our submitted reviews in here?

@chipsqwert Thank you for your question. We'd prefer you not review a mod that has already been reviewed. We are looking for new reviews.

Yes, the reviews need to be posted here.

Kind regards,
Yoda
