The Redmi Note 12 series opens the European chapter of their global journey today and we have the Redmi Note 12 Pro in the office, so let’s unbox it.
This is a well stocked phone. It has a case, a 67W charger and a USB cable. With the supplied 67W charger, Xiaomi promises to go from 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes, and up to 100% in 46 minutes. We will give these figures a test in our review.
Redmi Note 12 Pro unboxing
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro starts at €399 (INR 24,999 when it launched in India in January) and you get well-rounded devices for that money. Upfront, it has a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a triple camera setup on the back with a 50MP f/1.9 main shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera has a 16 MP sensor.
The 5,000mAh battery should last quite a while paired with the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. You get 6GB, 8GB and even 12GB RAM options.

Compared to the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ you would be missing a high-resolution 200MP main camera and 120W faster charging.
