Things you will need!!
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Steps:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until it's light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter and sugar mixture, and mix until just blended.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
