Name of the movie you are reviewing: A Quiet Place (2018)
In a post-apocalyptic world, a family is forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters with ultra-sensitive hearing. The survivors, who are few and far between, learn to adjust by reducing the amount of noise they make as the aliens are instantly drawn to any sound their sensitive hearing can pick up and slay whatever it is making the noise.
Review:
This movie is nerve racking, intense and thrilling, its unalike any horror films you've seen so far. You'll find yourself subconsciously participating in the movie, how?, well, by being really quiet, holding your breath, and trying not to scream cause thats what happened when i watched this in the cinema.(Although watching it at home may be more scarier). A Quiet Place is the best kind of horror movie. It toys with how we hear the world around us, in ways that are startling and creative and tense. It uses the elements of horror to heighten a common human experience, making us think about everyday life in a new way.
Viewers get drawn to investing in the fate of the characters as they try to live life in making little noise as possible. As the movie intensifies it keeps the viewers on edge, with series of constant questions like how will they survive?, or what will they do now?...
Basically you'll feel like this emojis:
Yup, lots of emotion
The director of this movie is John Sierpinski. He played the main character, the father, along with his real life wife Emily Blunt, who also played as his wife in the movie. The child actor who plays Regan, Millicent Simmonds, is deaf in real life. The film only has twenty-five lines of dialogue in the entire script as most of the dialogue is made using American Sign Language.
