So right now I use a kindle fire 7, and it's really decent for the price, but it's just so inconsistent with games. It can run games like galaxy on fire 2 all day long and be just fine, but then games like tap titans 2 it just bogs down and/or crashes. I don't know why it can run certain high quality games just fine and yet can't handle simple quality games, maybe something with updates requiring better specs or something? Mainly i want a decent tablet that will be able to handle any game I throw at it, has better memory cause this sucker only has 1gb and half of that is always being used by system crap, and is preferably $500 or less. Decent storage is a secondary priority cause I can always slap an sd card in it.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 should be the best, altough slightly above your budget: https://amzn.to/2Jww5M7

Otherwise you could switch to the S3 which is a bit cheaper and still offers great performances, definitely above the Kindle Fire 7: https://amzn.to/2SDFF4b

If you don't like Samsung devices and would like to switch to cheaper ones, the ASUS ZenPad 3S should be the right one for you: https://amzn.to/2Jy5T3O or even the Huawei Mediapad M5: https://amzn.to/2OkJpUI

Each of these tablets should fully qualify as gaming tablets as their specs are high enough to let you enjoy literally any game on Google Play :)

Hope it helped!

awesome thanks Benny! I'll wait till black Friday rolls around and see if any of them go on sale and if not, the m5 would be perfect for me.
