Does anybody here know the game Town of Salem?

What is Town of Salem (ToS)?

Basically it's a game based entirely around deception, where townspeople try their best to survive the mafia, neutrals (including serial killers), their own townsfolk, and public accusations. From the start no one ever really knows who's who!

The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments - Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don't know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught. If you are part of the mafia, such as a Mafioso, you work with your other mafia members and try to take out all townie players to secure a win for the Godfather.

All in all, it's a fun game to play and to those who haven't played it before, check it out and tell me what you think

It's like a Sbennytopia Simulator with bans and stuff!!!!! xDDDD

I've played the game before! It can be a lot of fun but it's better when you go into a game with someone as opposed to joining by yourself a team always makes thing more enjoyable ^_^

I came across some Let's Plays on YT and decided to try it myself with some friends back in the day. It's been a few years since then tho so i'm not up to date with the News regarding the game

Same, I saw someone play it on youtube and it looked interesting so I tried it too but I didn't get to play it with friends, they thought it was too boring D:


I haven't played the game in so long so there might be some changes but I think the basics are still the same. So what's fave your alignment to play? And your favorite role to play as?

I kinda liked the neutral side of things just because of the fact they have their own motivations, whatever they might be. It's more interesting that way!
But the role...mmm...probably the veteran. Screaming "Get off my lawn" at random people speaks to my soul *-* xD

And then you proceed to shoot the escort on the first night, they just wanted to give you a good time D:

The subsequent night, thinking you're in danger because you were baiting the others in chat, you prepared your gun and then the next morning you killed the investigator, that's a townie thug life you live


For you which role is much easier for you to win as, the Serial Killer or the Godfather?

I like turn nights with me into an adventure!! xDDD

Mmmmmm depends, right?! I mean, if you have a good team, the godfather is easier because you can actually coordinate efforts with others and you have people supporting you. Otherwise, is best to cut loose and go awol as a serial killer

What about you? Let's hear it!.......I'm between escort and witch WHY NOT BOTH!? xDDDDD

If you're asking me to choose between witch or escort, I'd pick the witch. The witch has more fun abilities than the escort and I can win with the evil roles (mafia/sk/arsonist). The escort is good too with their role-blocking ability to support the town but most of the time, the townies just screw me over. A veteran can kill me if I step on their lawn, or the SK will slit my throat if I spend the night with them

Pick between Arsonist and Executioner, which one is easier to win as? and which one of them do you prefer?

that would be nice, but it seems not a lot of people here knows the game


I tried the mobile app before but the game was so janky, the chat was super delayed and I often get disconnected from a match, so the game definitely works better on browser than on mobile :/

Ohh I know this one! I wanted to play it but unfortunately, you had to pay Sooooo, I went with a free game just like this one called Werewolf Online, its pretty fun! You should give it a try but yea, nothing like Town of Salem haha.
