Cant login to FB as there is no button for it

I've tried the "For those who have troubles with Facebook login, the solution is simple: uninstall your Facebook app and try again." fix but I can't uninstall it, only disable it. Also I don't want to root my phone just yet because I just bought it (which is why I'm trying to transfer the park from my old phone), so, is there any other way to make the FB login work?
