This might sound silly,but I downloaded it just fine and began playing it. However,when I go to use another star to purchase something else after I already purchased something,it like won't click it and I have to close the app and reopen it to be able to choose the items if that makes sense. I just wanted to see if anyone else had this same weird little problem lol

This problem is well explained in the notes of the mod, you need to install this mod only AFTER playing the tutorial.

It's outdated. When I open it and the game loads it tells me that there's an update available. It's a Christmas version/event thing. I can't update it via the play store so I can't play it at all.

Try to turn off internet/wifi and launch the game again, it should work fine as it's an offline game.
