Yes, but only if they are interacting, but that's not the problem.
The problem is, back then users can simply log-in then log-out to get the daily SB Points.
So the problem is that some people are watchers and not talkers?
we should give them a break
some people are professional cheerleaders in the background, liking things without actively contributing to threads or topics in general. It's actually quite a humble way of acting and they shouldn't be punished by the more eccentric members for being the way they are. I think they deserve their chance at getting some SB
It's not about making it accessible or safer.
It's about preventing "hit-and-run" (download then leave) because it's a forum and not a simply download site. Sbenny wants a fair trade with modders and players.
I see...then how about i get mods for free?
i'm here everyday, talk to all sorts of people, know lots of stuff about lots of users because i take the time to learn more about them, make them feel welcome in all threads i visit... Instead modders can keep charging the "hit and run" members that use the forum as a download center. it's perfect!
If it's not, maybe we are looking at things the wrong way. Maybe people should do what people wants to do
a forum it's a lot like politics! We all have opinions and some of us voice them out loud...but most have no say in it other than liking someone. And they deserve nice things too
It could feel like a job if the game you play updates weekly. *Sad*
Which sadly in some cases it's true but then again..
hypothetically..
do you feel obligated to keep them updated? and the answers is that (beyond morals or ethics, if you consider it that way) you are not. Meanwhile, users would be obligated to do things that they were simply not born to do just to get your mod.
How is that fair?
They know the site, they may also recomend the site to their friends, hit-and-run or not they are part of the transit in the website...isn't that enough?
sort of interesting when you look at it from that perspective!
