[sagekei]

black is for emptiness, for the sorrow
like a blanket of a starless, night sky
it's the color of grief, of tomorrow,
a gloomy day, as strong rain passes by.

yellow is for the mask you wear each day
to hide the layer of black underneath
it's the color of lies, where faux smiles lay
so they will not see what's lying beneath.

green is for the vicious, for the poison,
for all of those people who gave you black,
it's the color of malice, deception,
and the prejudice they stabbed on your back.

red is for anger, for resentment, pain,
and for all the sufferings caused by green
it's the color of a fight to the vain,
someday, a battle you're going to win.
