And do you have any tips for games/books to keep

Owchies ! I've no idea how badly the tendon was damaged but certain doctors would decide to do some surgical repair .
This kind of tendon damage can give you foot problems in the long run like tendinitis, plantar fasciitis , ankle instability if left untreated and if you dont heal properly .

Using ankle bracing will help to keep the foot stabilized and offer some support while you heal , if you can get hold of a moon boot as well , that will cushion the foot and help reduce injury from shock while getting around , If you have swelling in the area , try applying an ice pack while you have your foot elevated . Sleeping with the ankle brace on and having your foot elevated tends to lessen the swelling during the night and reduces the pain to some extent . It may take anything from a week to 6 weeks to heal properly 😊 so please take care of yourself . You might want to look into foot taping when you are able to get around easily as it will keep your foot aligned .

haha yes 🤕 and the fall was super unspectacular 😅
Thank you so much for your helpful and very detailed reply! :) do you know how these boots are called?
I think the tendon is ruptured completely..🤦🏼‍♀️Maybe i should go to a specialist 🙈

You're most welcome , I hope the doctor you did visit gave you some strong meds for the pain 😊

Lol well atleast you were doing something fun when you fell with style ! Its called a moon boot in my country Im not sure if its called by another name elsewhere , the boot is mostly given when the foot has fractures, so I doubt you can get one from your surgeon/ doctor but sometimes relatives and friends have one lying around if you're lucky or you can get it online . It would be better and easier for you to get ankle bracing , they look similar to the moon boot sometimes but just shorter in length . Google it 😊 you might find some fab looking ones
