A cyoa game from hosted games. Very similar to other hosted games and choice of games titles.
Review:
It's very standard overall. It's a good game but nothing that makes it stand out from others. It's main plot is about the supernatural and their world. You're someone that grew up in the normal human world and was suddenly caught up in a seemingly random monster attack and is willingly or unwillingly dragged to the supernatural world because you are dragged to magical university with or without your consent.
One thing that is very apparent however is how weird and disruptive the time skips can be. While a big chunk of the game revolves around your life in magic university and your roomates and friends you'll meet there, the time skips sometimes make it awkward and disruptive. The game is a very apparent case of "Show, don't tell" in my opinion. While you spend a lot of time reading about your interaction right now and your choices can somewhat influences them. The game also spends a lot of time telling you about the many things that happened during your time skips. It's basically university but magic.
There are however also the main plot where you'll spend time investigating missing artifacts theft to investigating your own family history with your roomates.
The game excels at how character acts and how your choices affect their relationship with you. Seemingly minor choices can lead to interesting outcomes. And from what I've seen there're a lot more paths your character can take to which character you romance. It's replayability is pretty good.
The same can be said about the supernatural parts. They're surprisingly well explained and are pretty rich as well. The game does have a lot of info dumps as well in some parts however. You can choose to be a normal human or other beings with different supernatural powers like telekinesis or flight.
All in all, a pretty good game despite its misgivings.
