Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

I do. I renamed the data folder. Then cleared the app data and it worked. When I rename the data folder back it gives the error again

What do you mean by "rename the data folder"?

Tried renaming the android/data folder so I would not loose the progress when cleaning app data. Then I started the game and it worked(new game though) but when using the old folder it gives that communication error

Maybe it's a ban? I think there were people getting that error on the last version aswell

U can install the app over the other one. No need to uninstall first. Though I get communication error after doing that

You didn't have to do all this. You just had to install the newer version over the older one as these apk files have a special signature which let them install over each other on every update.

Sbenny I did that. But it gave the communication error. I only did all of that to see if it still gave the error when starting fresh.

Sorry but I'm unable to reproduce your issue as it's not occurring on my side. Maybe something corrupted your save file somehow.

I still get this error message. I had no problem downloading the apk file.
And there is no way that this problem is caused by my internet connection.
Well I waisted another 90 SB Points....
