Problem solved!! Uninstalled previous version & just downloaded new version. Started game, all seemed fine. Went to load previous game from cloud, but would NOT connect to Facebook or load cloud. To FIX this issue: you must NOT be using Facebook app... won't let you connect from modded game. Delete your FB app, restart merge dragons, click on cloud connect. Will ask you to sign into FB, but will do so using YOUR BROWSER....not the FB app. Sign in FB, and will then inform you of previous cloud save & ask which one you want to use, select it, and merge dragons will reload with previous saved game!! After doing this, I had to close the game & restart for the unlimited mods to work.... but all works great now!!!! (Simply reinstall FB app if needed)

Uninstalling was a mistake but all is not lost. Uninstall this version and get the proper version from the play store. Log in so your data is on your device and then install this version over the original. Do NOT log back in to fb, you'll likely be banned.
Hopefully this works.

While it works great, unlimited money/stone are frustrating. You end up with piles of them and no way to get rid of them.
