Name of the app you are reviewing: Running With Rifles

Running with rifles is an open-world top-down shooter, the game is focused on giving players more freedom on how to handle certain situations. The graphics look a bit cartoony, and the overall game isn't very serious and/or grim.

Review:
The game starts off with you being a private, the lowest possible rank. You can't wield any fancy weapons or equipment, you don't command a squad and you can't call in support. Throughout the game you slowly turn from cannon fodder to high-commanding general, this creates a great sense of progression as you with time unlock exciting new weapons and abilities. Sadly, this system does have a drawback. When you're in the game for a couple hours, you may notice that constantly just killing troops for xp will get tiresome. And some upgrades can take quite long to get to. Luckily, when you do, it feels great. You feel like it was worth the effort.
And you can always try new things to spice stuff up; Why not grab a jeep, jump behind enemy lines cause chaos behind the lines?
There's always something new to try and do. Equipment can also be bought with resource points. (RP) You can earn rp by completing missions and objectives and selling dropped enemy souvenirs. RP is also used to call in strikes or reinforcements.
The DLC aren't anything too new sadly, they're basically reskins of the basegame in different theaters of WW2. Which perhaps can also be seen as a plus, considering you don't have to completely overhaul your tactics.

Would you recommend this to other users? Overall, the game is great. It's a nice combination of hardcore and silly casual gaming.
The only downsides are the grindiness and the slightly mediocre dlc.
