For most of people their download is fine, but for some they got a zip file, no idea why, no download error for me, so you did well posting your problem here so I can send you another link.

Try renaming the .zip file to simple .APK name such as SpotifyMod.apk then use SAI to install.

Downloaded the zip file, do I need to extract?

I was able to rename it to .apk and install it with the split installer like others suggested. Working well so far! Thank you!
