Name of the app you are reviewing: The House of Da Vinci

Enter The House of Da Vinci, a must-try 3D puzzle adventure game. Solve mechanical puzzles, discover hidden objects, escape from rooms and dive into the authentic atmosphere of the Renaissance. Use all your wits to find out what's behind your master's disappearance.

Review:
The House of Da Vinci is an interesting logic game similar to “The Room”. Throughout 8 chapters, you have to solve riddles and explore unusual and amazing mechanisms in search of the mysteriously missing Teacher.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is familiar to such puzzles: you need to press buttons, pull levers, toggle switches, look for hidden places, and so on.
As the story progresses, we will be given several special tools. For example, one works like an X-ray and allows you to solve puzzles inside the devices themselves. The other allows you to see some elements of the past.

There are many puzzles in the game, and some of them turned out to be not at all trivial, at least in comparison with “The Room”. In my opinion, it is very difficult to complete the game without hints. The point, in fact, is not even the complexity of solving the puzzles themselves (hints in any case do not give a solution to the puzzle), but the fact that it is far from always clear which object you can interact with and which one cannot. To solve this problem, the developers conscientiously added some scuffs and scratches, by which you can understand that the part can be moved. But this is not always noticeable, and you have to wait for the next clue to appear, from which it becomes clear that you need to return to another room altogether.

Atmosphere:
The levels are elegant, atmospheric, and in the same style as the Leonardo da Vinci workshop should be. All objects in the game look like they are real, and you literally want to touch them with your hand, feeling the coolness of the metal or the relief of old but expensive wood.
The music is well-chosen - it does not interfere, does not tire and does not focus on itself. Nice, calm background. At the right moments it will become more tense, in a relaxing mode will fade into the background and will add atmosphere to what is happening.

Would you recommend this to other users?
Should you play the game? Definitely yes. This game is very interesting, in addition it develops attentiveness and logical thinking. But I would not recommend disabling hints in the settings menu, because they only guide you, but do not provide direct puzzle solutions.
