Name of the movie you are reviewing: Twilight

A teenager by the name of Bella Swan is new to a small town called Forks, in which she'll be spending with her dad. However, strange occurance start happening, and she discovers vampires and werewolves exist.

Review:
The movie itself wasn't that good. Bella Swan is not a highly developed character, and definently could've more personality. She was a flat character, and the movie itself was very stereotypical. Teenager falls in love with a vampire, has a werewolf competitor, gets changed in the end and so on. It was a very predictiable movie.

Edward Cullen, the second main character, was also flat. He was also very stereotypical- Brooding, reclusive, not a single flaw, etc.

The love story, the whole reason of the movie, was eh at best. Edward falls in love with the human, the feelings are reciprocated, and they are inseparable. It's very predictable and has no interesting twists or turns.

Lastly, Jacob. Jacob is a very..confusing character, to say the least. He has shared interest in Bella, but ultimately looses to Edward. Edward and him have always been rivals, but Bella comes along and manages to make them see ways with eachother. Once again, predictable.

Jacob is also very flat in character, but probably has the most body to him compared to Edward and Bella, despite being an-almost background character.

The family of Edward were barely there, as well. They were used as background characters, understandable, but some of then included so much that they could've, and should've, had more than They were given.

The movie fell flat, and once again, the saying of "The book is always better than the movie," or something of the sorts, is correct.

Would you recommend this to other users? Not very much, however the book is better.

It may not have been a great movie or book series but it did lead to a new trend of obsession with Gothic and vampire books and movies so Stephenie Meyer can call it her hallmark in rekindling a dying genre, although to what extent is it actually enjoyable is a matter of debate.
