'Tis a tale that you've never heard,
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Once I was a chick,
I was very, very, very, very severely sick.
Momma chicken was engulfed in anxiety,
To find a cure, she rushed outside in a hurry.
Her head was filled with different things!
She tried to spread her wings,
Thinking she could travel through the sky,
But then, remembered she couldn't fly!
She begged to God, "Show me the way please."
There she saw a path to take...
Long and winding, yes it is.
She crossed that road for her baby's sake.
But when momma chicken went back...
She got hit by a speeding car,
I was rushing to bring her back to the farm,
But we didn't even get that far...
Momma chicken died in my arms.
