Reviewed Device: Xiaomi Mi 4 (aka Mi4W)
Description
A pretty old phone that still somewhat stands the test of time. It has A 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, 16 GB of storage, 3 GB of RAM, a Quad core Snapdragon 801 (Max speed:- 2.5 GHz) and a 5.0 inch 1080p screen
Performance:
Camera:
Quality:
Price:
Things I like
3 GB of RAM is still enough to play games at low to medium graphics level, also, a 2.5 GHz quadcore snapdragon 801 is still fast, turn on the performance mode for best performance.
Things I don't like
after these many years, it sometimes slows down, battery drains faster then anyone could imagine if performance mode is on, Camera is okay but not that good, performance mode heats up the device really nice (you might be able to make your morning omelettes on this). Also, the phone is not 4G enabled.
Overall Ratings:
Verdict
If you don't play much, don't care about 4G and other stuff, and just want it just for calling, browsing etc. this is enough and a bit beyond what you need. However, it's not gonna be that good in the future, browsers are taking up more RAM than before, so it is advised to go for much recent phones.
