Introducing the in-game currency in Tower of Fantasy
Currencies Gacha
1. Tanio
Tanium is the premium currency in Tower of Fantasy and can only be obtained when purchased with real money. It can be used at various points in the game, but the main one is that it can be converted to Dark Crystal, which is also another form of universal currency.
2. Dark crystal
Dark Crystal is a very important currency and is mainly used to pull the limited banner after it has been converted to Red Nucleus.
3. Gold core
Gold Nucleus is the leading gacha currency right after Red Nucleus in terms of value. It is used to roll on the banner in abundance of weapons for the Simulacra weapons. Gold Core is abundantly available on the world map and can be farmed directly or from supply pods, other than that the game also gives it in the form of rewards such as achievement milestones and in the mail.
4. Black gold
Black gold is a special type of currency and is used to purchase Simulacra weapons from the Weapon Shop. Once a Simulacra is unlocked for the first time, the respective weapon appears in the shop and you can purchase it directly from there. Black Gold is obtained by wishing on the Weapons Galore (Gold Nucleus Banner), with each throw you will get a piece of Black Gold. After an SR character has reached the maximum number of constellations, rolling them again will also give you a piece of Black Gold.
5. Proof of Purchase
The proof of purchase is the gacha currency used to pull the matrices on the banner of weapons in abundance. It can only be obtained through special rewards or converted from Dark Crystals.
6. Base chip
Similar to Dark Gold, Base Chip is the byproduct of rolling on the Weapons Galore banner. It can be used to purchase matrices directly from the store.
7. Black core
Balc Nucleus is almost the same as Gold Nucleus, but their respective banners have different draw rates for items and have no mercy. Black Nucleus is probably the item you would see the most when exploring the world as they are scattered all over the place and can total over 500 in the count.
8. Red core
Red Nucleus is used to roll on the limited banner and can only be obtained from Dark Crystals, Tanium, or in-game rewards.
9. Gold flame
Similar to Black Gold, Flame Gold is the byproduct of the launch of the Red Nucleus, but once a limited banner is finished, all accumulated Flame Gold will be converted to Black Gold.
Currency Resources
1. Gold
Gold is arguably the most important currency after Dark Crystals and Tanium as it is used in everything from upgrading simulacra, equipment and matrices, and even for purchasing regular items from the underworld. Usually, a player can never have enough gold in the game because it is needed in every update. Gold can be obtained from Supply Pods, Chests, and Bosses, and is also available for purchase directly from various stores such as the Crystal Dust Store and Support Store.
2. Merit
Merit is the currency from the Crew Shop that can be used in the Crew Shop to purchase various useful in-game items. Mainly obtained from crew missions and daily donations.
3. Energy crystal powder
Energy Crystal Dust is automatically emitted whenever you spend your available vitality. This powder can be used in weekly store-bought upgrade and advancement modules, gear pieces, and gifts.
4. Training points
Obtainable through training missions that are renewed every day. You can find the aforementioned mission in the Adventure tab.
5. Support points
Support points are generally awarded when you finish a dungeon with other players. Currently, all instances provide you with varying amounts of support points, for example clearing world bosses gives you 100 support points and dimensional tests gives you 150 support points. They can be used in the shop to purchase various delicacies.
