Time wasters last week Ice universe has posted the exact dimensions of the Galaxy S23 series. They were mostly the same as their respective S22 models, except they grew a few fractions of a millimeter in height and width. Now Ice figured out where that extra 0.3mm on the Galaxy S23 came from and the cat isn’t happy.
The answer is extra bezels, presumably 0.15mm on all four sides around the display (which will remain at 6.1 “). This explains exactly the extra height and 0.3mm width for the model of the display. next year compared to the current one.
The Galaxy S23 + is 0.4mm taller and wider than its predecessor, presumably that means 0.2mm more for the bezels (again, the display will be the same size as it is now, 6.6 “).
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is also slightly larger than its predecessor (+0.1mm high, +0.2mm wide), so it may face the same fate.
Is the extra 0.15mm on the S23’s four bezels really a big deal? Ice universe think so, the leakster is “obsessed” with smaller bezels. They have a good point, however, the newer models should be better than the older ones and so far we haven’t heard of any display upgrades (the S23 and S23 + will reportedly remain in FHD + resolution, the Ultra with QHD +. ).
