Honor X40 GT will arrive Thursday with a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The company revealed today on Weibo that the smartphone will come with an advanced cooling solution with 13 different layers to ensure optimal and sustained performance. Its steam chamber will have a total area of over 4,000 sqmm, the company also revealed.

The Honor X40 GT will be the third phone in the mid-range X40 range and is clearly intended for power users. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate screen and will maintain 115.07 fps for 60 minutes while playing a multiplayer game in an online battle arena, such as Arena of Valor, without major changes in the device’s temperature.
The framerate remained virtually unchanged in two other scenarios: one hour of 90Hz FPS gameplay and one hour of 60Hz RPG. To promote the phone, Honor is teaming up with local MMA fighter Magnum Zhang, who was the first ever Chinese champion in UFC history.
